Markham boot camp owner gets a little weird on you

Hey there…I hope you are doing amazing and keeping motivated toward your fitness goals.

I just got back from a bachelor party trip in Vegas and it was CRAZY.

We walked the strip, saw some humans sleep with tigers at MGM and went on a ride where they literally suspend you off the 108th floor of the stratosphere in mid air.

Instead of me explaining it…here are a couple pictures I took with my Iphone:

I’m a total wuss when it comes to heights so this scared the bejeezus out of me. It was an awesome experience…but I’m never doing that ever again.

I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t the healthiest on this trip. I hardly got any sleep because I swear they pump oxygen into your rooms to keep you awake. And I wasn’t eating the best either.

But I don’t feel guilty one bit. I always take care of myself when I’m back home so I deserve to cheat a little when I’m on vacation. In fact I’m on this new Diet and Exercise program that has already dropped 3 pounds of fat within the first 4 days on it. It’s a little weird as it requires fast days, cheat days and shake days.

My body is my laboratory so I’m always up for trying out new things in the name of faster fat loss.  In fact, people call me a Fat loss Ninja because I learn all the sneaky ways to burn fat off of your body…or maybe it’s because I’m Asian…whatever.

In fact…this next technique is going to be so sneaky…that it might as well have come from a Fat Loss Ninja.  It might as well be me.

So right now I’m gonna get a little weird on you. This might seem a little too “woo woo” for you but trust me…it works.

Here’s what I mean…

If you are not hitting your fitness goals and don’t feel satisfied with the way you look…it’s really not your fault.

No seriously…you are hit with all kinds of negative stimuli from the news, negative people that hang around you, and maybe past experiences that you can’t seem to shake off. This has a direct effect on your mind and it’s ability to succeed…and 90% of where your fat loss results will come from…you guessed it…your mindset.

I know you probably heard this before and are thinking, “Dan has gotten too weird for me, I’m outta here!

Well stick with me a little bit and this will make more sense for you.

Your mind was designed for success…or failure. It just depends on how you program it.

The most awesome thing about the mind is…you can always program it for success anytime you want it to. You can program it so it automatically hits your goals…without any effort on your part.

In fact the technique I will reveal to you in a bit is a big reason why:

– I was able to completely change my former fat self into a fairly lean guy who is improving his body every single year.
– I went from a high school dropout to a somewhat successful business guy…even though I still have no clue what I am doing…no really…I can’t even operate my email correctly.
– I am able to get my Markham boot camp members fantastic results through my boot camp faster than and in a fraction of what it costs to hire a personal trainer in Markham.

I do owe a lot of the above to taking risks and busting my butt every day in the gym, constantly educating myself and getting coaching. The reasons as to why I did those things to be successful can be attributed to this one technique.

I really don’t think I should be saying this technique to you out loud because I fear that men in white coats will come to my door and take me away. But I digress….

The one thing/technique you should be doing every day to train your mind to hit your goals and change your life is…

Visualization of your goal

Your mind is an automatic success mechanism that needs a goal to be attained. Some people actually worry and visualize the worst possible scenario for themselves and turn their minds into automatic failure mechanisms.

Your mind needs a goal to be attained. It needs to be directed and visualization is the most effective way possible to do it. There are easier ways like positive affirmations and positive thinking but the most effective technique you can use to reach your goals is Visualization of your goals.

In fact…I would do all 3 just to get the best benefit but we are talking about visualization so let’s stick to that one.

How to Visualize

Pick one goal – If you are reading this blog and have come this far…I would go on to say that your one goal would be your perfect weight, or perfect body. Only pick one goal because your mind is like a magnifying glass in the sun. Focused in one direction it will burn a hole right through your goal.

Visualize yourself already in possession of this goal – It’ll be hard at first but take each day and mold this visualization until it is clear in your mind. What will you be doing? More importantly…how will you be feeling when you reach this goal? Feel that feeling along with your visualization.

Visualize the things you needs to do to get it – You visualize yourself actually having the habits and doing the work necessary to get to your goal.  Also take into account that you actually gotta do the work necessary to get to your goal.  You can’t just sit on your butt and expect it to appear out of thin air.

Do this for the next 21 days and be amazed – Do this consistently every day for at least the next 3 weeks and you will start to see changes and make achievements you have never seen before.

Why this works

Your mind needs to be at a goal before it can be achieved. Your mind also needs to have a target to reach, a goal to strive for. Once it gets a goal, whether positive or negative, it will automatically, subconsciously start moving towards it.
